Caricatures

The ideal gift for a birthday, leaving present, anniversary - you know the sort of thing! Based on the information you send me (detailed below) I'll send you a copy of a pencil sketch for approval and then complete the job in ink and water colour. Framing can be organised for personal collection, but not for postal delivery - glass doen't travel well in the post!

You send me a good photo of the person - one that really looks like him or her

I send you a copy of the pencil outline sketch for your approval or amendment

Then I'll complete the job in ink and water colour

• One very good photograph of the person - the best likeness you can get. Tell me their eye colour.
• In the finished caricature, what will they wear - clothes, shoes/boots etc ?
• What should they be doing in the picture?
• Any funny anecdote you can dredge up from the past.
• Their sports, hobbies, habits & interests.
• Places of particular interest to them - sometimes a signpost showing significant places works well.


A list will do, although a lot of people have a definite idea of where things should go - if so, draw a stick-man sketch (I like a good laugh too!) and show me what you would like.
